I'm Erika and I'm from Ohio/Georgia, stationed in Germany, deployed to Afghanistan. I love quilting! I have a group of ladies that sew, knit and crochet blankets for the Afghan orphanages, hospitals and daycares of the local community that we are in. The work is endless but very fulfilling after a day of work. I enjoy reading the postings on this site. Have a nice day.

My daughter served in Afghanistan for 12 mos with the Army Reserve in 2006/2007.

Welcome from Washington state. I am an avid participant in the American Hero Quilts that we ship to Afghanastan for the wounded military that get transported to Germany. Plus my daughter spent 9 years in the Navy and did 3 deployments over there. So welcome aboard and thank you for serving.
