Hi Everyone, My name is Mary and I live in Dudley, in the UK. I am SO glad to have found this site, I am in the middle of my first ever quilting project - a baby quilt for a friend's baby which is due on the 21st of July. I am confident with a sewing machne and have done patchwork when I was a little girl, but have never quilted before. I am enjoying it so far and it is going pretty well. This site has been so helpful as I will be thinking about binding soon so am getting nervous about that! Mind you, I was nervous about the quilting part, and so far it is going ok (am sticking with a simple echo quilting inside each patchwork square - K.I.S.S!).
Anyway, expect more beginner questions from me soon! Thanks for the helpful replies to my question so far.
