Quiltingboard Forums - Hi, I'm new here, too

Greetings from now-snowy Pennsylvania. My name is Trina and I can't actually remember how I found this site, but I am 'sew' happy I did. I really love to learn new quilting techniques, and really wish I had more time to just quilt!

I've been quilting for about 12 years, and collect vintage sewing machines, 98% of them 'people powered'. I really enjoy using the treadles & hand cranks for my quilting, and have recently acquired an industrial Singer treadle for fm quilting. Enjoy regular piecing, as well as paper piecing. I do fm on my treadle, and sometimes hand-quilt depending on the size of the project.

I'm the mom of two wonderful kids (daughter, age 10 and son, age 'just about' 8). I work from home for my husband's construction business, and have recently moved into our new home where he generously designed me an awesome sewing room with tons of windows which currently houses 5 treadles & 3 hand cranks (yes, I use them all!). I'm a very blessed girl. ;)
