Hi everyone! I'm Danielle, 28, and a very new beginner to quilting. When i say beginner, I mean i'm taking my first quilting class tomorrow night. I've been interested in it for many years and have done a small one with VERY close supervision and someone walking me through it. I'm determined to make my husband's christmas present this year so I guess I should learn what I'm doing. Let me tell ya, i'm already on my way, i learned how to turn on the sewing machine last night. :D

Welcome. You have come to the right spot. Everyone here is very talented and friendly. If you have any questions just ask and I promise you will recieve an answer. Have you decided on your pattern yet? We would love to see pictures of your progress in your quilt. I just started quilting about a year and a half ago and everyone here has helped me a lot.

Hi Danielle, welcome from Sunny Southern California. Glad you are joining us. Be careful, quilting is very addicting and fabric collecting is even much more so! They have such wonderful talent on this board. I love reading all the tips and suggestions and seeing all the quilts. I'm sure hubby will love what you make him!

Hi Danielle, I just joined here yesterday. I wish I had started quilting when I was young like you (I'm 43 and started quilting when I was 40). There are so many quilts to make and so little time! Have fun with your first class.
