This was supposed to be a simple QFK project. I really thought the fabric was cute. Long story shortened....started quilting....realized the back was pinned all puckered......ripped.....took it outside to spray baste (that stuff is deadly inside)....ended up "quilting it to death" to keep the puckers from showing so much. Whew!
And this is Millie, my assistant and quilt inspector, sitting in her designated spot, on her own "kitty" quilt right by my machine. |
That quilt is so cute. In spite on your problems it turned out great. Thanks for sharing.

Your quilt (and quilting) are great. Love that little kitty also!

Great quilts and a very special inspector! Thanks for sharing!

Your cat looks very like one my daughter had many years ago. She really wants another one with the same pattern. BTW, your quilt looks very good.

awww...she loves her kitty quilt!!!

Beautiful cat - My mom has a Calico named Millie :) She not a tortie, though.

Looks great.

Looks great! The QFK website suggests heavy quilting to hold up to all the love and laundering. This quilt certainly fits that order. Nice job on the quilting.
