Hello from NC. I like the smaller ones too. I like using strips because I dont have a lot of space to lay out large pieces of fabric to cut. Good to meet you.

Welcome from southeast PA! Yes, I only do smaller ones now. Unless your sewing for someone else, you run out of storage room for the bigger quilts. I posted some of my quilts on 1/7. I did the Halloween one to slow me down as it took more time to complete. A small quilt can take just as much time as the larger ones when they are a bit more complicated.
