Quiltingboard Forums - Hello from GA

I'm happy to have found y'all! I have a few more minutes off work due to the ice, but will be heading in shortly. I hope to be able to learn from the board and share what I can. I have the basic quilting skills, equipment and a big stash. I tend to be a little ADD, so focus is difficult...I want to do it all! I work, so time during the day is minimal, but look forward to catching up in the evenings and on weekends. I love hand quilting and am trying to improve at machine quilting. That free motion foot makes me awful nervous, but I'll keep practicing. My sis is a great inspiration and quilts during every free moment...lots of charitable projects...and I was able to go with her on a quilting retreat in OK last December. I really saw the realm of the possible spending those days with all those great quilters. I'm looking for a local guild. Thanks for the board and look forward to getting to know y'all!
