Quiltingboard Forums - New To The Quilting World

Hello!!! I am nurseluanne and I am new to the quilting world and so far I am addicted already. My mother-in-law is has been quilting for years and has started teaching me. She has talked for years of the online groups she is involved in and how much fun and learning she has had. I am looking forward to learning from everyone and can use all the help I can get. I am nurse who worked (loved) labor and delivery for 9yrs and now I am a public health nurse who supervises a Health Clinic in Duval County. I am married to a Navy Chief and I am so proud of my husband and all that he does for our country. We are lucky that he is on shore duty and enjoys working on sewing projects with me. My greatest accomplishments are three children and I enjoy every minute I have with them. I love to bake and bake cakes and cupcakes on the side for events. I can't wait to get to ya'll and to join into swaps.
