This quilt I made for my sister. She wanted a large quilt with lots of color,LOL     She shouldn't have said that. I guess this is calle a crumb quilt, don't know. I call it a crazy quilt, because of all the crazy colors. I used dryer sheets as foundation to make it. She loved it. It still has a nice smell. My points were off,but the way it is made with all the colors it is hardly noticable.
The vikings quillow is My youngest daughter Connie The Baby quilt was for my sis.I.L Grandson. |
What a good idea to use dryer sheets! I really like your projects.

Very Nice!! The baby one is darling. I'm still saving my scraps....one of these days I'll have enough to do a scrappy quilt too.

Hi TigerBaby, You do them just like The crumb quilt. With this one I started at different angles. square up dryer sheets,No 2 are the same size. Lay a piece bigger than you need right side up. Lay another rightside down sew, trim, press seam to the side. Keep going until sheet is filled. Trim off excess. EASY. Go to the Tute. it is very good. What I like is you dont have to tear it out. I washed them and used color safe bleach If any chemicals remain. I don't think my sister worries about it. It still has a fresh scent. Not strong very faint.
