I am the CFO for a credit union in NY and I LOVE what I do. We have been steadily growing and are one of the only credit unions in our region to have a positive ROA. My CEO and I had plans over the next three years to bring in a new school to our field of membership, merge another credit union in to ours (we would be headquarters) and buy and renovate a new building to move our office in to as we lease space now. Well it appears all three projects will start THIS Year and be 50-75% DONE by the end of 2011. This will double our asset size and make us that much closer to our goal of being a $100 million dollar credit union all female run!!!
Wohooo...oh the things that turn me on..sad sad lol

Congratulations! This is indeed a big deal. Sort of like a quilt - you put a lot of effort into making your credit union successful and now the hard work is paying off.
