My best friend is an amazing quilter and I have attended MANY quilt retreats where I happily sat and read several books. I've NEVER had ANY desire to pick up a needle, cut fabric or sew on anything other than a button. This week, a new friend sat down beside me at a luncheon event and WOW! The I-Spy quilt she brought with her took my breath away. My mind started racing as I thought of all the variations and uses for an I-Spy quilt. So, I've got to be the newest newbie in the quilting world but I'm eager to learn!
