Does anyone know a good source for free paper-pieced stained glass butterfly or normal butterfly block patterns. I'm from Hudson, NC and the town puts on an annual Butterfly Festival and I'd like to make a butterfly quilt to mark the occasion. Please reply; this is my first post, here. Thanks.

Welcome to QB! Hope you find something useful! I love butterflies, so maybe I'll check out some of the suggested sites, too!

Here's a couple of sites:

If your local library has the book "501 Quilt Block Patterns", put out by Better Homes and Gardens, I know there are several butterfly patterns in it.
THey are not stained glass, though. Some are patchwork and some are applique. |
Thank you for the pattern sites. Really appreciated. :)
