My latest - I posted this as a top a while back and finally got it quilted. I did FMQ swirly pointy shapes in the main body (after SITD the cubes - HATE that! all those ends to sew in!) the I did flames in a gold thread on the black border - I wish it showed up better. I got the idea for leaving the tail hanging out from one of the dragon quilts in the OBW Cubed book and made a pokey out head as well for good measure! It IS square, promise, it's just hanging so high up the wall that I couldn't get straight on with the camera. :D

Thanks for looking, hope you're not fed up with me and my OBWs.

BTW - for those who don't know, check out this link to the Topic List - the OBW heading will give lots of info and a list of all the threads with these quilts posted. http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual_section_list.jsp

This is an awesome quilt. I think my DDIL would have a different opinion about quilts if she could see this, or if her DMIL could make something that wonderful....

Wonderful Kathryn - it's very dramatic, and especially the groupings and colours of the cubes. Fmq in gold must be quite something in the flesh too - cos I know how the fabric looks in "real time" too!

Wow, well done!
