It's a great site. You don't have to do the blocks if you don't have time, but there is some Civil War history posted along with the blocks so it's worth a visit. Here are the blocks I've done thus far, unfortunately not arranged very neatly on the design board.

Love both of your blocks. One question...how do you print the pattern off? I must be missing something cause I can't figure out how to do that without printing the whole blog post. Thanks for your help.

One way is to open a new word document. Highlight the portion of the blog you want to copy. Click copy. Go back to your word document, paste.

I just printed a pic of the block and wrote the directions underneath. She does not give always the most expedient directions for making the blocks - you can make half square triangles and flying geese for some of them so far - so you might want to think through the directions a bit before you start cutting because there might be an easier piecing method.
