Has anyone done a mandala quilt that is not too complicated? My son wants one, and I think it is just beyond my skill level. Thought maybe I could fudge with a OBW or kaleidoscope quilt, but even they could be a trial for me. Help?!

If you can sew well enough to make the quilt in your avatar, you can easily make a OBW :D:D:D

Look at Ricky Tims Kaleidscope book or technique. It is mandalla type and very easy to do

is there a good tut that you know of with either mandala or kaldiscope ( misspelled) quilting?

OBW is a one block wonder. Avatar is the picture under your name.

Whoa!! That fabric was Verrry patterned, and I had to change the one block to make it simpler. I was all blocks and triangles!! Thanks though! No, I am still in the strips and boxes phase- not newborn, but definitely toddling!

You think I can fake it with busy fabric then??
