I have been reading all about everyone's sewing room and I have a question.

Does anyone have a small fridge or a microwave in your sewing room?

.... fridge for holding your cokes? or microwave for making a cup of tea?

I have been toying with the idea of putting a mini fridge in my sewing room. Not sure if I want to take up fabric space for it though.

My home is so small, I don't have far to go to get to the fridge or microwave. But, if it were bigger  :D:D:D

My studio is our former dining room, so it is right off the kitchen....15 feet to the tea kettle and fridge. LOL

Need to take a break now and then so take short walk to kitchen for treats. Do have a bottle of water in there with me a lot tho.

Me too. I have to also go up a flight of stairs to the bathroom. Hubby knows that if we put a bathroom in the basement near the sewing room, I would never come upstairs. He would never see me.

Do I have a microwave and fridge in my sewing room? Well, sort of. My main sewing area in my diningroom table, and since the house is open concept, that means I'm about 8' from the fridge and about 12' from the microwave. It also makes it easier to not burn dinner, and run the dishwasher, all while quilting! The quilting frame is another story. It's in the family room in the basement. No fridge or stove, but it's close to the freezer, washer and dryer - if that counts :)

After working in the workers' compensation system for 35 years I learned it is best to take breaks on a regular basis. I also have a one level home, my sewing room is in the back of the house, so that gives me a brief change of scenery and movement.
