I use Adblock plus on Firefox and don't see them. Advertisers are shooting themselves in the foot. I do see small, static ads at the top of the page for quilt patterns.

For me it was the yellow teeth and jiggling bellies ads that drove me into the arms of an adblocker.

The pop up ads that disrupt my posting and reading are driving me crazy. It’s getting so bad I rush through a post just so I can finish it before I get redirected. If i wasn’t active in swaps, I would look for a new board.

My iphone is the worst offender.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

This is also what I use for the quiltingboard (and most everything else). I have tried closing the app, restarting the iPad........etc. etc. I would not mind the ads so much if I could be “released” from the ad. The Amazon ad is the WORST!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me glad I never have bought anything from Amazon!!!!! Guess who I am NOT going to buy from in the future!!

I only use my laptop for this and don't have trouble with ads. I do get those weird amazon things on my phone, though. I would not blame "Amazon" for these. It is just like any other "click-bate" and has nothing to do with the real company. Some bad people hoping you will enter your information, passwords, etc. I would hate to see people leaving the board because of this. Hopefully, you can find a way to block adds on your system.

FireFox with AdBlock. I never, ever see pop-up ads. Both are free.

Are you using a PC or tablet/ipad?

It seems to be unique to a certain browser.

I just installed AdBlock and the next time I clicked on a message I got a popup ad. It's one that's driving me crazy and I can't figure out how to delete it.
