Default Suggestion about a special applique area on QB

Think it may be possible to have a special section for both hand and machine applique? Just wondering.......

I'd enjoy that as I'm fairly new to machine applique

Since applique is my first love, I'd love an applique section. Just adding my two cents worth, so if you are counting the interest in it, you can count me in.

I think Craftibear started an applique section a while back.

here's the thing ...

if we had all of the special sections individuals suggested, the section list would be several pages long.

it will take some time, but i can try to re-organize the Tag Cloud to make it more useful. i will have to delete most of the current tags so we can start over with a shorter list that will make more sense and be useful to more people.

i will also have to write some instructions because i already know that a majority of members don't even know what the Tag Cloud is, let alone what it's for and how to use it. that should not be taken as criticism of those who don't know. it isn't something we've talked about or emphasized. it's also a wee bit of a pain to use until you really get used to it. still, it can be helpful and is definitely "better than nothing."

You can count me in as one who does not know or understand Tag Clouds!

For those wanting more applique discussions ... what about prefacing your thread titles as such?
(Patrice can say if I'm wrong on this thought? or not?)

Example ...
Applique: How do you do needleturn?
Applique: my machine applique isn't turning out
Applique: Using fabrics other than quilting cottons
Applique: My latest quilt photos

With posting of the Bonnet Girl blocks, I'm getting intrigued about applique!

Quilte - I love the idea of making the first words of a post clear enough for anyone to know they are going to read something about .... applique, longarm, embroidery, specific quilt block ames ... it helps me skip over the posts that do not interest me right now. I would love to see somethings devoted to applique since I am still new to it and just learning (done several projects - just don't know if I'm doing it right - is the way I am doing it going to last?) but I understand that it may not happen.
