advertisements suddenly showing up
 

Why are advertisements suddenly showing up right IN my Quilting Board daily newsletter? They used to be off to the side but now there are several in between the various posts.

I don't know about the news later, but there were posts on this site about Ad Blocker. It works great.

Yes, been getting that recently too.....hate all these ads.....I don't even look at them

I'm with the rest of you......all those popping ads in my face are very distracting and annoying.

I'll be watching the answers. The same thing has been happening to me/. I get so frustrated that I just feel like stopping.

I'm frustrated by the number of ads. They're all over the page. Is there a way to turn them off?

I love the board and its wisdom, but the ads are annoying!

A new or different ad, which shows up whenever I click on anything from the home page, makes Safari freeze; it must be force quit. I cannot look at anything, as a result.......most frustrating!

I will get audio ads every so often, and when you are not expecting them, they kind of startle me.

I would give up 'computing' if it were not for "ad blocker plus". Google it--free.
