Advertising on this Site

Today for the first time I see a really filthy ad on here. Is this to be a permanent thing? Specifically one is of a "breasty" lady in a bikini who is removing her clothes--bottoms up.

I have one more question about what I believe is an ad. At the beginning (top) of every section I have opened today is a link that says I must download special software to be able to read my private messages. Is that genuine or is it something that will cause me trouble if I click on it?

I use Firefox as my browser and have had no trouble with it so far.

Now, at the top of this message that is a sign that says, "Critical--update your security settings now!"

I think I'd ignore those "signs" and hopefully they will stop showing up.

Evidently something has changed. I see where you have 380 posts. So it isn't like you are new on the board. Maybe go to home page and contact QB to see what's going on. They should be able to help. I have not seen the ad you speak of the "breasty" lady.

Might also need to update your pop up ad settings on firefox. I see next to no ads on this site using Firefox with the popup blocker.

Are you referring to the area just under the toolbar where you see Home (like the ad in this pic)?

It's my understanding these 'ads' are a marketing tool based on your browser history and your surfing habits. IF this is the area, just ignore them ...

I had to redo my Firefox last week because for some reason I started to get ads.
Now no more ads. I was getting them like above and also down the right side and on the bottom.
No naughty ladies. Go to Firefox and redo the ad blocker plus.

I figure ads like that come from the youtube links, purely by accident. I would do a "security scan" on my computer to make certain a "cookie" hasn't been downloaded. I have seen a busty girl in a bikini but not taking her clothes off. Or maybe I was so interested in the quilt block I didn't notice.
