Am I the only one that has to log in every time?

When I sign in to QB, I always check remember me, but when I go to something else on the Internet, I don't log out of QB, but when I come back, I have to log in again. What am I doing wrong. I used to hardly ever log in, but now, it's more times than not. Kind of worrisome.

In my experience, the "remember me" doesn't work. Jmho~

It has a mind of it's own. Sometimes you have to click on the user a couple times. When your user comes up then go to pwd and click on that then hit log in. Like I said has a mind of it's own like this keyboard.

Are you clearing your cache in between?
If so, the Remember Me will be erased with that process.

Tartan 02-04-2014 08:44 AM

I always log in and out because my anti virus considers "Remember Me" a cookie.

Probably just my dinosaur ways but I never stay logged into any sites...here; email; nothing. I always log out and do not rely on just closing the given site. It doesn't bother me to log into/out of any given site.

Sometimes I have to log-in 3 times before it keeps my log-in, in one session.

Another piece of advice I saw about having this problem when signing in, make sure the page is completely loaded before you fill the info in, if not, it won't stick.

I have to log in on I pad, but not PC. Go figure

I do not log out, but have to login EVERY time. What a pain... I forget to login until I am ready to post. LOL

Maybe it depends on your browser. I use firefox and always stay logged in unless I have a computer malfunction!

Are you checking the Remember Me box?
I know it's easy to miss it which then means a log in the next time.

meanmom 02-06-2014 05:32 AM

It used to do that to me. I always checked remember me. I would still have to log in every time. All of the sudden one day it started keeping me logged in. I didn't do anything different. Makes no sense to me. Of course most computer things don't make sense to me.

TacoMama 02-06-2014 06:04 AM

I have to log in again, too and it is really a pain!

JanieH 02-06-2014 08:42 AM

I've noticed I have had to log in more the past several months. Comforting to hear others are having this problem and it is not just me.

I have the box checked, but it still doesn't keep me logged in all the time. Will try again today...

It happens to me every day, too. I hate it! But haven't found a way to fix it!

QuiltnNan 02-07-2014 01:46 PM

IE often updates their software... in doing so, they change your 'cookie' preferences. when that happens, you have to go back into your system and reset your cookie preferences.

Depends on how many devices I have logged into the site. 2 laptops, 2 Ipads, 1 iphone. I predominately use my personal Ipad most of the time. I stay logged in fine.

Yes, make sure the page downloads completely when you log in and ask to stay logged in.
