I'm getting these "You've won an Amazon gift card!" pop-up ads like crazy on my phone. They take over, both with the pop-up ad itself and with sound, and it takes "an act of congress" to get them silenced and closed. Then when I finally get those ads closed, I get more pop-up ads trying to get me to believe that my phone is "heavily infected" with some virus, and trying to get me to pay to get rid of it. (They're scams. I've run a virus scan to make sure. My phone is clean.)
My ad-blocker on my computer stops them, but I have yet to find a decent ad-blocker for my phone. It's so bad that I don't dare access the QB from my phone anymore, for fear of getting a real virus or malware. The ads only happen when I visit the QB ... nowhere else. :(
Technical info: My phone is an Android with Chrome's web browser.
What can be done about this?
