Anyone know how to post a pic from a cell?
 

I got a new lg aristo for my birthday so I could jpin the fun in the 21st century, but, alas, I am still backward. Sigh.

I take the pic with my smartphone Samsung 6. I get ready to email the pic by resizing it to the smallest size. Then email the pic to my computer, a desktop Dell. Open the email and in the upper left corner I save it as an attachment. It gives me a number like 172-904. I record the number in my log book and what the picture is so I can find it again.

When I post such a pic on this board I click on the icon that has the tree in the middle. It gives me a blank box. I have to start with the year this was transferred to the computer: I type in 2017... and that gives me a list so I scroll to the bottom for the latest pic or type in the number I want. Then I have to hit upload. Play around with it. I'm on chrome and Windows 7.

I have a BlackBerry Z30. I take a picture with it, then view it, and at bottom there is a button labeled "Share". Tap it, and it gives you the option to Email, text, Facebook, etc. Choose email, then your screen goes into the Compose screen, and go from there. Sounds like each phone is different.

Thanks for giving me a starting point for experimentation.
