attach a word document ...
 

I'd like to attach an MS Word document for a little tutorial. I can always attach pictures, but did not try whole document (2) pages with pictures in it.

tutorials should not be posted as only documents attached for download.
you should post the text and images so people can read without having to download anything first.
not everyone will be able to - for example - read a word document.

if you want to do members the favor of also attaching a downloadable document, the best format to use is .pdf.
most people have acrobat reader, which is free, or some other free software that can read .pdf.

You can copy and paste from a Word doc. to Quilting Board. Its a little time consuming but will be better for others to read.
