You can find members in a particular state, not all the states, by this route after you log in. I hope this will help.

1. Go to the Quilting Board Daily Digest where you go when you get the email about the daily newsletter.

2. Click on member list at the top of the Quilter's Message Board Page.

3. Go to search members under the letters of the alphabet.

4. Go to advanced search in the box.

5. On find users, enter the state you want in the location box to find members in a particular state.

6. Scroll to the bottom and click on the blue search now box.

the "Member List" option is available on the top menu of any page. :)

I find looking for a member thru the Member list at the top so cumbersome because you can only enter one letter or am I wrong??

Tks, Quiltin'Nan, I, too, appreciate all you do around here to keep us from bumbling around..... too much, lol. I found it and once again bookmarked it.

if you know more than the first letter of the member's username, you can click on "Search Members".
a little box will appear into which you can type your search string.
