concern over post

In the main area, someone has posted a link to click on to win lots of money...does that belong in this forum? Could someone check that?

And it is also in the Pictures section.

Unfortunately, we have had several spammers lately that have started threads in five different areas.

There is a triangle with an exclamation point on the left side of the post. After clicking on that it will open a new page. You can then type something in the box. Be sure to click on the "Send Report" button underneath the box (I usually have to scroll down to get to the "Send Report" button). It gets sent to all the moderators.

ETA: according to https://www.quiltingboard.com/8443072-post5.html
"if you report it by posting about it or by sending and email or PM it will take a lot longer to get fixed."
"please report them using the triangle icon."

I didn't think it belonged anywhere on the quilt board. I come on the quilt board to see all the beautiful quilt projects everyone is working on, the great tips and sites given for purchasing helpful notions, etc., but not this sort of an ad.

Same thing the other day with some sort of Asian porn.

Obvious spam. Never, ever click links in a suspect post. Just report it using the "!" point.

Thanks for letting us know how to report something like this as I ran into that the other day but did not know what to do about it. Didn't click on the link though.

When you see spam, just click on the little red exclamation point and the moderators remove it.

Ok, didn't know about triangle. So has someone else done that?
