Daily Digest

Did anyone else receive an email from the board asking to sign up for quilty give aways and other quilt related news? I did and I updated in order to get this and now I didn't receive my daily digest.

I think you should report this to a moderator - patricej - to be specific. Along with a copy of the e-mail.

the email was legit, and addressed by patricej already in one of several threads started.

daily digest

I have already deleted the emails. It all looked legit and normally I don't go for anything other than the norm. I sure hope it gets fixed cause I look forward to my daily digest everyday.

Please send your inquiry to [email protected]

I am not at all involved in the emailing of the digests and newsletters.

The first and most important thing to remember is that the emails are not the board.
They are only a link to a smattering of thread links.
They are rarely the newest threads and barely scratch the surface of all that's available here.

If you know you want to come to the board often, the emails are a waste of time.
they slow you down.
why wait for an email?

You never need those emails to connect to the board.
Just come straight to http://www.quiltingboard.com

If you like starting with the sample list of links, go to the Resources tab.
Make sure to keep exploring, though, so you don't miss any of the good stuff. :-) The Archive link leads to lists of threads in reverse order - newest first.
The Home tab is the starting point to get to everything.

You can add it to your browser favorites/bookmarks, put a shortcut on your desktop, or (if you are a total QB junkie like me) you can make it your home page.

Try using the direct route.
You might find you like it better. :-)

I had also signed up for the new e-mail, then no Daily Digest yesterday. Went back and clicked to un-subscribe. Sent a e-mail as Patricej suggested. I got my DD today, no problem. But, what I'm wondering, is if I now go back and subscribe to it, will it screw up DD again.
