Do old posts get "archived?"

I have noticed that some of my very oldest posts are not in my "posts" list or my "started threads" list. Should I expect that old posts will be archived after a certain time? I ask because QB is basically my quilt history and if my posts are falling off I want to make a different arrangement. Thank you!

A good question. I would like to know, too.

I have also noticed this. Sometimes I can find the post that is no longer on my profile by doing searches but because the advanced search function no longer works properly that is not an option either. I am like you wesing, I have used the QB as my quilt history. A lot of my old photos are on a computer that died so the only access to photos I have is what I have posted here. I do intend to find a computer repair guy to see if he can retrieve those files for me.

It probably wouldn't hurt to make different arrangements. Computers crash, servers go down. etc.

The search function has been messed up for a while. It will search and give you results. When you click on the link it will take you to the page, but the content text doesn't show up , that is until you refresh the page. This can be done several ways. The one I have used the most is clicking on the refresh icon. The refresh icon is a circle-shaped arrow next to address bar.

I just did an advanced search and found that if you put in a user name and make sure there is a check mark next to "Exact Name" that when you click on the link, the content text will show up. If you just use something in the Keywords box, click on a link, you will need to refresh the page. It looks like those are only the posts you have started.

There are Additional Options as well to search by date and ascending order.

I hope this helps. If you need more help, you can PM me.
