I have a???

I'm just curious. I know my picture post was moved to the main section, yesterday(?). I posted a picture of the pattern/block from the book, that I more or less got my ideal from. To show the difference. Was that not allowed. Or when I get my daughters quilt top, done. Will I be able to post that picture of the original block with what I had done. Don-isewman

All pictures from books, magazines and web sites are under copywriter. You can draw a picture of the block or show a picture of a block you have sewn yourself.

if i understand his question correctly, his post was moved, not deleted.
in either case, Don, you will have received a system notice of the action.
i recommend you contact the moderator who took the action.
she can let you know the logic behind her decision.

i wouldn't worry about it too much, though.
moves are performed as a courtesy.
they are not punishment in any way, shape or fashion.

You could make a block like the one in the book and post a picture of that along with your new creation. If you made it, the block is yours and you can post pictures of it. I like your blocks that you made and am curious about the originals, too.

my posts are moved often. I don't take offense to it.

I am also in that group. As Patrice said, not to worry about it. It is better to post an internet address in stead of a photo off the internet or magazine.
