issues uploading pictures with photobucket
 

Watons helpfully says "Just as a suggestion...When you download from Photobucket, use the "Direct" option, otherwise everyone can see your whole Photobucket account. "

Not a problem for me, because everything I put in photobucket is shared somewhere....but, I thought it was caused by me selecting "public" vs "private" when I uploaded, not when I selected "Img" vs "Direct".

Does anyone have anything to add or further explain? I"m in a learning mode with ears open.

i can't answer questions about photobucket, but you shouldn't use it to post photos here.
we delete images that we find are linked to off-board storage sites.
they create problems "down the line."
if anything changes or goes wrong at the off-board storage site, the images no longer display here.
that disrupts whole threads.

so, when posting photos here at the QB, please insert or attach directly from your computer.
the same applies to mobile device users.
