I have just started my a quilting blog and would like some input from the great quilters that come here. Is is alright if a ask a question and put a link to my blog?

I was told it was a NO NO and my post was taken down.
I was linking to tutorials on my blog but apparently you can only link to other people's blogs/tutorials, not your own.
If you want to know for sure PM Patricej. That was who I communicated with.
