Malware pop up?
 

It seems that every time I attempt to log onto this site my antivirus "Avast" shows that a malware site is trying to take over? Anyone else having that problem? I mean the site works fine but its just odd that my antivirus all of a sudden is flagging the site?

haven't had any problem in that regard. It could be one of those pop up ads that come along with the site that triggers the alert.

I just got it when I clicked on a thread. I also got one yesterday on my local newspaper's website. Don't know what's going on.

I had those pop ups on my iPad for awhile and only on this site, but they have disappeared. Dunno why, but I'm delighted. They were a real pain.

I had the same Avast problem a couple of days ago, except that it took the entire Digest email out.

I got a 2nd one last night after posting on this thread and then clicking to go back to "Main" - and one this evening as well.

I have not received any notices about malware.

the QB is virus and malware free.
if your computer is infected, you didn't catch it here.

check to ensure that your security settings and protection software are up to date and set up properly.
