Yesterday 11-16-11 I posted a new thread titled Toys for Christmas. Today for the life of me I can't find it anywhere. I posted in General Chit Chat and today I can't find it at all. Can someone please tell me where I can find a post from yesterday? I went to the archives and it wasn't there, it is not in recent topics and it is not under my Avatar on my profile page. Where else can I look???

Yes this is it. Guess it was an unacceptable topic but I would have thought that I would have gotten a PM from Admin. if itwas not allowed.

One of the things that was nice about the board before the sale is that it wasn't micromanaged. AS long as everyone was civil we all got along without a bunch of deleted threads.

Exactly!! I get this a lot, especially if it is for a topic that sounds critical of the new format

Sometimes a thread starts out in the safe zone and ventures into the danger zone with other posts. Sometimes it is moved to another section.

I've had topics deleted recently, but don't know which ones. I've been watching my "started threads" count...it was up to 110 yesterday and now it's down to 102. Very frustrating.

We are an international community.
We have standards designed to keep things polite and friendly.

Sometimes topics are not appropriate to that spirit.
When we can't save them with a bit of editing, we take them offline.

It has always been that way.
