OK, I'm not having any luck putting a picture in my message. I've looked for the "little tree in a square" but haven't found it. Help

If you are not seeing the tree in the square icon, take these steps:
go to Settings/General Settings
scroll most of the way down to Miscellaneous Options
choose WYSIWYG
be sure to save your changes
now you should see the icons above the typing box

I made the change and found the icon but when I upload the picture from "My Pictures" I get a upload failed notice.

Probably your picture is too large. I find i have to resize every picture before it will post.

Change the setting on your camera for web-sized pictures, and you won't have to do the resizing!
