Difference between - thrift shop and for sale categories...seems both carry same items.
if it's "closed" does that mean one cannot reach poster...or just thru pm?
is there a set amount of time an item/post remains listed? Or does poster somehow notify
admin to remove?

The items for sale are closed so that the threads stay in the same position. When someone post to a thread, the thread then moves to the first position in the section. You are suppose to send an PM (personal message) to contact the seller.
