Pop ups.....
 

Is everyone getting those annoying pop up ads that take you to the App Store? Is there any way to get them to stop? They are VERY annoying!

Yes indeed, sure am. I posted on a few other threads, seems like lots of us are getting these. Anyway, they are not the typical popups that can be stopped with an ad blocker - I poked around on "the google" and got into an Apple Forum and seems that it is an issue with Apple and the App store and to fix it would require something on their end. I love my Apple products and have the new iPhone on order, but, they are not perfect and this is annoying. I get this disruption primarily on quilting board!

I use Google Chrome browser with the Do Not Disturb app. I don't get any popups at all and no targeted ads.

I use the chrome browser too on my old computer and I love Ad blocker for getting rid of all those ads that were showing up on QB. Eventually someone will figure out how to undo that and I will be stuck with seeing those annoying ads again.

These are not regular pop ups. They are from the apple App Store. Does google chrome work for them too?

what browser are you using? I use FF with AdBlocker and do not see them.

I get those annoying pop-ups, too. The thing is I can't get rid of them without getting completely out of the board I'm viewing. If anyone has an answer, please let us know. Thanks.

Yes, and Yes it is very annoying. It happens 3 or 4 times in a few minute span and makes me want to just stop looking at the forum. It is only on this forum that I get the pop ups. Can't this be fixed?
