Print from QB?

I click on QB from my email via my iPad daily. I am automatically recognized at QB. If I see something I like I will email to myself from here. So far so good.......but now the problem...today I went down to my office onto the desktop there...got to my email, clicked on what I wanted that I had emailed myself from here, came onto screen...then tried to print the pic (Christmas gift)... Printer was acknowledged, printed all the letters on the page, but pic was a blank square. Oh, btw, on my commuter, QB does not "know" me....at top states log in to join group discussion.....my prob also is, i have been here so long, and have used so many different passwords- at various sites, I don't remember which I used here..l know that's dumb. Is there a way to find out what my password here is...I once tried logging in on computer...used up all my tries! So now I have two probs...can't print pics and password lockout!

don't have a clue how to solve the picture issue.

using the iPad, log in as usual.
go to Settings.
change your password to something you will remember.
it will work on your real computer, too.

Using the iPad, you can take a screen shot of the picture you want to print. It will go into "Photos" on your iPad. Then you can print it as a photo. I save a lot of things as photos...recipes, ideas, etc. For me it's easier to go to "Photos" to find what I want. Of course, if I were really good at computers, I'd set up folders, but hey, one thing at a time.

I can't print from my iPad..don't know why- technically....which is why I sent via email to desktop to print.

if I take a photo on iPad can I somehow get that to desktop to print?

Would you believe I have a rolodex with all my sites listed and their passwords. It is a pain to find, especially the Q tab as I have a lot of quilt sites. However, memory being what it is now, I have to have everything written down.

I think you need a wireless printer to print from the iPad. You can try emailing picture to yourself and printing from computer

I have all mine written down as well. I picked up a cute little password-specific notebook at the Hallmark store several years ago. Each sheet has site name; user name; pw; several other lines as well. I add my entries in pencil in case I have to change something. I find it invaluable. So much so that I bought them for for my wine & whine besties for Christmas one year. No little scraps of paper everywhere. But I'd use a rolodex too if I still had one!

Stitchnripper has it right. I do email the photos/information to myself and print it out. We have a wireless printer, but it doesn't like to 'talk' with the iPad.

This will probably make techies shudder. You're right. I understand. Trying now to think of how I get around this. My wireless doesn't like the iPad when I do this, but will do it for hubs. Maybe I pads are female? Sorry, for the digression.

So, always do a print preview on your desktop before hitting print. That way you know what you're getting. So, you send it from the iPad to your desktop. So far, so good. Then you may have to copy what you want printed and put it into Word or some other program and then print. I know exactly the problem you're having.

What I've done lately is take a screen shot of information I want. Then I just go to photos when I want to retrieve information. Saves paper...everything is in one place. Screen shot is: hold the on/off button and the home buttons down simultaneously and you get the screen shot automatically saved to your photos. Saves a lot of messing about. If you want you can always print the screen shot and resize it before printing. PM me if this is confusing.
