QB Viewing Different --- Please Help
 

I logged out of the QB yesterday, and when I tried to log back in, it opened up in a mobile site mode, or something. Nothing is laid out the same. There is no 'quilt of the week', members birthdays, blogs, settings, 'what's new', ect. I can no longer post photos, PM anyone, or even go to 'settings ' on my profile. I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and clicked on 'Full Site', hoping that would bring up everything to normal. It didn't work.

I've tried logging in and out, refreshing pages, ect. but nothing is working.

I have a screenshot of what the QB is looking like for me, but I can't post it because I no longer have the option of any photos.

I am using my Amazon Fire Kindle, HD8, with a Bing search engine. I have never had this issue before and I have been using this device since last December.

Have you tried turning the kindle off? Fully off, let it sit for a few minutes, and then back on?

scroll to the bottom and change the mobile mode to full view.

i used to be able to change that setting for members who accidentally changed it.
i can't find that option in my secret bag of tricks anymore.

it isn't the QB that changes your view.
it's the browser and/or your device.
it might have been recently updated and changed your view setting.

on my phone none of the third party browsers (e.g. firefox, chrome ...) will let me force a permanent change to full view. i have to change it manually every time.

luckily i don't use my phone to go on the internet.
also, the browser that came with the phone will let me force a permanent change.

check to see if there's a browser built into your kindle.
if there is fish around in the settings to see if there's something you can do to force a permanent override of the mobile view.

Thank you, Patrice! I was able to get Google onto my Kindle. It feels good to be back in the loop! I didn't realize how much I enjoy the QB until it's gone for me.
