The QB Will Be Offline For a Few Hours on 6 Jan 20

i have been notified that the board will be offline beginning at about 7am, Pacific time, on Monday, 6 Jan 20.

it has just occurred to me ...

we might lose a few new threads and comments when they make the switch from the board in its current condition to one with (we hope) the critical fixes we've asked for. if you notice something you posted didn't survive, please just post it again.

when we are back online, i will close the current thread in which we are tracking problems and start a new one for Phase II.
i hope we won't need a Phase III, but these things are impossible to predict.

fingers crossed ...

Here’s keeping my fingers crossed that the board is back to normal after the 6th. Thanks for giving us notice.

Thanks for the heads up.

I always experience a feeling of dread when I try to log on and it is missing.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll plan to spend more time at my sewing machine than on the internet on the 6th!

This is a great thing! I am actually looking forward to seeing the final outcome. I for one am finally managing some of the current changes. It can only get better.

Thanks for letting us know that some things might not survive the big switch on Jan 6. I don't have a lot of questions or comments but I did go back & pick them out & copy & pasted them into my Word program so I wouldn't forget what my concerns were. Thanks to you Patrice, for all you are doing to help make this transformation as acceptable as possible to all of us.

Did they do the update? I have been able to get on all morning. Haven't noticed any changes.

yes. this is what they consider an update.

i have already complained.

i dare not express my feelings fully.
i would have to delete myself because it would be 98% words that are forbidden here and not suitable for polite company.
