What is this about?

My Mac computer is connected by a wire/cord to the modem, and the modem is connected by a wire/cord to the wall.

My keyboard is wireless.

I have suddenly been getting a similar message for almost every site I use from my laptop. I don't know what that's about.

This board is not a secure/private site & information put here can be viewed by others. This is why you never want to put your personal address, email address, credit card #, etc. on this site as it can be picked up by anyone. I'm not sure how secure/private/safe the PM's are. Maybe a moderator could tell us about that as I know we often share info through PM's.

I wonder that about the PMs also. I located one of mine through a google or yahoo search that showed my phone number.

I have not been able to find that PM again, though, through a search.

Wow! Serious? That is scary!
But then again, a hacker can get into liturally anything... even if the PM's are secure.

I just received a similar message, "x'd" out then got a pop up to show content. Happens to me often. O was told it was a ploy for an ad to buy software.

I also have the same "message"

Exactly. And as an aside, just go with the thought that pretty much nothing you put online is 'secure'. Just my 2 cents.

The QB sufficiently secure for the type of site we are.
In order to post, send or receive private messages, view user albums, etc. one must log in with a username and password.

Private Messages are private.

Sites for banks, government and similar organizations operate at a higher level of security.
There should be a setting in the software on your specific computer that you can use to verify we are a safe site.
