Subscribing to a "Pictures" other sections- anyone got this to work?
 

Since the changeover I decided to focus mainly on the pictures and tutorials threads, because I love them best and if I stick to a small area I won't get lost and frustrated, which is otherwise what has been happening every time I come back.

So, I see at at the top of the Pictures menu that I seem to be able to subscribe and, supposedly, get an email every day telling me when there is new stuff on it- perfect I think- I'll get a message every day pointing out any new picture threads or new tutorials and I'll go straight to those!

I used the drop down menu in "Pictures", chose "by email daily" and clicked "add subscription". Nothing. It records it as a subscription but nothing at all has happened, and it has been there for more than a week now so for sure there have been new threads started.

If anyone knows how to make this work, please let me know. It is very irritating not being able to use the "great new tools" we keep getting told are included in this new set up.

Have you subscribed to the main "Picture" forum yet? You do this from the main page where all the forums are listed. There is a little green dot to the right of each forum, and you click on that to subscribe. In your case, you say you want to focus on pictures and tutorials, so you'd click both those green buttons, and follow the prompts as to how you want notification. Only those two will then appear on your "Settings" page as a subscribed forum.

I did it through "Forum Tools", which brought me to the exact same place.
But hey, now I have done it from there as well.
Makes no sense, but it might work!

Did the "Picture" forum end up on the list of "subscribed forums" on the page you get when you click on "SETTINGS" upper right? I just tried it again, adding pictures to my subscribed, and I got it by clicking on that green button on home page of the board. Send me a PM if you'd like me to help more.
