trouble logging in
Frequently I have trouble logging in. Just now, I had to enter my user name and password 4 times before I could log in. I've also clicked on "remember me" so I don't have to enter everything every time, but nothing has changed. Is this normal? Thanks, Julie

Remember me is considered a "cookie". My virus check removes cookies so remember me, doesn't remember me.

Here's some advice that PatriceJ gave awhile ago:
When you get to the Quilting Board Home Page to sign in, please remember to wait until the page completes loading to log in. The fields have "hint" text in them as opposed to labels outside them to indicate what should be put in there. When the page has mostly loaded, there is code on the page that will dynamically remove that hint text from the field as soon as the user tries to enter their own text in there. after you enter your username and password, but BEFORE you click to log in, check the "Remember Me" option. Also, if your browser offers to save the password, let it do so. |
