unapproved messages
 

I don't understand the unapproved visitor messages. What is this and how can someone be in a swap if they are not approved? Thanks

Send a message to the person doing the swap to see why you could not participate, I do know that many swaps have rules and guidelines, as I am with on my first time the one of the rules were if you sign-up and don't follow the rules and guidelines you will not be able to participate again, not sure if this happened to you. Send message to find out it just be something that the swap is full.

i am not in any swaps and i have gotten two of these "unapproved visitor" notices. one from a friend with whom i've exchanged many private messages & another from a board member to whom i had written a private message. i don't moderate messages and i don't understand this.

i've not encountered this. sorry.

My understanding is this happens when someone posts to your "page" instead of sending you a PM. You need to approve them if you want to leave them there, or you can delete them.

I've only had them show up with a person didn't know how to send a PM - and left the message on the page by accident.

They all show up "unapproved" until the recipient approves them.
