Trying to find the "SEARCH"

I always click on the search feature to find answers to many questions, however now it takes me to a list of topics and then when I click on one of them it only shows half a page and no answer.
What am I doing wrong? Can someone help?

Same trouble here. I put in double wedding ring and came up with nothing. I know we have talked a lot about double wedding ring quilts. I want to do a bedrunner. Oh, my why do things have to change. (smiling)

Need tips on using the search feature

I'm having trouble searching on the new website. Apparently what I'm searching for is too generic for the advanced search engine. I didn't have this problem in the past. Any tips?

Search

How do I search for a topic that was on the quilting board? Thanks.

I'm sorry that you are having a difficult time with the search feature. Personally, I get better results with the new QB than the old. Choosing an unusual word that you know is in the post is helpful. you can narrow down the dates and choose the forum you think it may have been in. I can only suggest that you keep trying.

quoted "I can only suggest that you keep trying. " -- Keep trying WHAT, please?

I've searched on Singer Brilliance machine, found a thread from July 2010 asking exactly what I need to know, but can't get it to let me see responses to it.
