"View last unread" going to last post instead
 

I just realized that for the past few days when I click on 'view last unread' or whatever it's called, on the top right of page one of the threads that I'm going to the last post instead. I've been missing some posts not realizing it. Is it a problem w/ my computer or something with the board? I haven't had a problem until the last few days.

oops! it's 'view first unread' :)

"view first unread" should appear to the left of the the other options on the menu bar.
are you accidentally clicking on the word "Last", which is at the right end of the page navigation bar?

No, I'm definitely clicking on 'view first unread'. it is highlighted in teal print and it brightens up when I roll my mouse over it. It takes me to the last post instead of the first unread post. Then I read backwards until I get to the last one I read before.

I don't even have the arrow anymore just started yesterday and I am not sure why. Glad to see I am not the only one.

Yes, threads don't seem to be updating with the "view last unread" arrow for me either. I really like this feature with some of the very long threads I follow.

I don't have "last" on my menu bar, just the teal "view first unread", then Thread tools, search thread, display

I cannot find "view first unread" that someone said is at the top of the menu bar on the left. I always go to
What's New? to view the daily posts. Am I missing out on some posts by doing this?
