What is the maximum size allowed for posting pictures

So many folks are having problems posting pictures. Response is always "picture is too large". So my question is, what is the maximum size allowed, when down loading? I looked in the help section, and it does not address this issue. Answers anyone..

Thank you. Now we all know before we try to post a picture. Hope this helps all those who are having problems.

You're welcome....and again here's the best tip: the easiest way to get pictures to the size required for uploading, move the setting on your camera from taking blowup, lifesize pictures to just taking websize (or even 4x6 reprint size) pictures.....then there is no resizing necessary!

if trying to post already existing photos, go to your pictures folder, double click on the photo you want...this will open the photo INSIDE your default photo editor....look for the button or menu item called 'resize'.... once you get inside that button, there will be something showing the actual size of the photo and a way to make smaller.... go downward in size till it is less than 2 MB in both directions... save...File, Save or File, Save As... make sure you note the new name so you can find it when uploading to the QB....

I figured out how to resize pics, for this forum, on my Mac if anyone would like the directions for it. It's easy once you know what to do.
