Why Does This Happen?

Along with the headings of each category, it says, "Busiest Thread . . .", yet when one opens same, the thread has been taken down. How can it be busy if there is no context available? Should not it be quietly set aside? This happens far too often. Please explain. Thank you.

if you are reading "busiest thread" in the daily newsletter, you are not getting the most updated information... as PatriceJ says, the newsletter is not the QB... we have no control over it. Many threads can be moved/merged/deleted after the newsletter gathers the information. it is best to read the QB directly on the QB. if you like to see the busiest threads, they will be listed under Recent Topics found on the right of the Home page. The notice you are referring to are for topics that were deleted because the moderator found the content unacceptable. There is content, it was just deleted. I agree, it's frustrating to open a topic and find that notice. Best not to read from the digests, I guess.
