that is not correct.
the limit was 1.9MB

it is now 5MB

can you imagine how much worse it could be for members on older equipment or slow internet connections?
personally, i have resolved to just get used to the thumbnails and stand in solidarity with those who find they improve their surfing experience here.

I can't quite decide if it's the font, the colour scheme, or what but this is much harder to read.

Please know, I am okay with change if it makes things better. Waiting for the improvements to show up. What kinds of things can we expect that are better with this new format?
i need to know what kind of equipment you are using and which browser.

please look around; check out the menu options.
i did post some illustrated instructions for the new photo/file upload process. that's very different and without illustrations, the FAQ directions didn't quite cut it for me.
however, i won't ever have time to make a complete and detailed list of all the new or changed features.
members have to accept some responsibility for educating themselves.

There used to be a new thread button or add thread button and now there is none. Can you tell me where it is located?

Sorry. I was close though! I was going from my memory of the thread in the QB Help forum that discussed how to resize photos, and of course that thread has now disappeared.

I hope the picture gallery will be restored, unless I'm just missing something. I like to look there for ideas.

the gallery is actually an album.
cat-on-a-mac invested what might be thousands of hours building and maintaining it.
our albums survived the migration but not the photos inside them.

i don't know whether they can restore them, but the request is definitely already on the fix-request list i sent.

PatriceJ: Bless you and your patience! Changes are hard to accept, but we will endure and we will come to use the new forum just as we did the old one.

Maybe now we can get our "Like" button? Please, please, please?????? LOL

Even though I logged in today for some reason many times I would suddenly be 'logged out" or if I was trying to post a comment either a brief note or a longer one I would get a message saying that I did "not have permission to post and to refresh the page and log back in". It seems that for what ever glitch was happening my time online in the group had possibly 'timed' out ?
Just letting you know.... LOL I would just log back in and try again.
