So nice to see everyone's completions! So many really beautiful quilts. My computer crashed and burned so I haven't been able to log in, boy have I missed the eye candy. One of those viruses that wipes out your computer then offers to fix it for you, for a price of course. Still working on my triple Irish chain. Almost done with the quilting, then just the binding. Yes, way behind schedule.

Last but not least... Batik Noodle Recipe 3 which gives me a nice round number of finishes to share - #50 for 2014. My goal at the start of the year was to average one finish a week and I'm going to do it which feels great. I'll be more than ready to relinquish my UFO Queen status come 2014!!

carriem... ty, that is just what I had in mind! It's perfect for cutting all sizes from strips.
asl... I too love that quilting. It's simple but looks great and I really like that some of the lines cross!!! Great job!

I started working on my UFOs, finally finished my lock and chase binding which I did by machine, I'm not much for hand stitching unless its going to be for competition. Ive been keeping all my UFOs in my car with its fabrics, so you can imagine what my car looks like, including passenger seat and my trunk!!! I also started the binding on a halloween quilt from mid 2012, I will finish it today I hope. Then I have a baby trip around the world, then there's 3 raffel fund raiser quilts (funds for sr. center and 2 churches) which I need to finish . . . I'll be so glad when I can see my carseats!!! I made a promise to myself to finish all my UFOs and not to start a new one. I think Linda is right about dust bunnies, lol, when I started on that Halloween one, I started to sneeze, lol.

It's finished..... Yeah!!.... FINALLY!! I started this quilt 5 years ago by making one block. Then, it sat in a box waiting for me to collect enough oriental fabrics to finish it. And, I'm happy to say, I'm done. The pattern is called 'Kimonos' , a paper-pieced pattern by Betty Blais. The pattern is for a wall-hanging but I wanted a quilt so instead of 9 blocks, I made 20 and then added sashing and a piano border. I had to piece the back.... koi fish and batik ..... doing the happy dance now......

This has to feel good nanna. Awesome finish!

asimplelife, glad I handed that crown to you so you could meet your goals. You are doing great.

Now UFO hauling in the car? That is a new one for me. That has got to be the sight. You should picture it for us so we can admire our status.

Nana that is one stunning quilt. I have a small box of Asian fabrics waiting for me to do something with it.
