It hasn't been the quiet week I'd hoped for so finding quilting time is difficult. I've got 7 or 8 of my 12 blocks quilted but I'm going to redo one I'm displeased with. It's the block itself, not the quilting. Glad some of you are busy working away and others, I don't blame you a bit for enjoying nice weather or "gram" time! Laundry calls. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Totally fabulous Rob. I love that you used the blocks on the backing. That is so neat. Great job and bet that feels refreshing to have another finish.

While I was waiting to go to my dr appointment yesterday am, I was doing some embroidery on the machine so thought to do some sewing. Here are some ufos that sat there for about a year and half, squirrels left behind. LOl I cut them up, but did not get them finished for presents. Silly me. Well I am ahead of the game now aren't I.
Nice thing is that I did not cut up anymore than these. Hubby wants me to make the snowmen for our placemats. I may, we shall see though. No promises till I get there.

QMomma... great finishes. I have bookmarked your post because I want to try the Snowman as a table topper.
Also like the purses. Love the use of bl/lgt/gray fabrics. Is there a pattern for the bag?

Rob that's really cool. Love the "interrupted" border as well.

QM snowman is so cute. Those bags are great too.

The bags were from a Youtube video of Missouri Star Quilt Company, Jenny Doan.
Yeah, I am still procrastinating from doing that scrap star quilt. It is starting to yell at me just a bit more. Almost done with the pile of UFOs that was in the way.

QM- love the snowman and those bags! I've made a couple of bags using Jenny's tutorial, but never thought to do any quilting other than vertical lines. I particularly like the one with the crosshatching-- gives it a Japanese look.

Adorable Santa and the bags are very nice, too. I'll look up the tut as well. Thanks for letting us know where you found it. Congrats on your three UFO finishes and Toot, Toot QM!
